5 Events You Don’t Have to Miss This Year of Return

1. The Festival of Plays

The Festival of Plays which is powered by Roverman Productions has been running for over 6 years. At this festival, Uncle Ebo Whyte shows all plays done in the year in December with an additional play from the other years. This year’s Festival of Plays starts from 25^th December and ends on 2^nd January 2020 at the National Theatre.

2. Rapperholic Concert

Rapperholic in an annual concert powered by award winning rapper Sarkodie. This concert is for all Sark Natives, Sarkoholics and the whole world to experience the rapper at his highest. He performs alongside his numerous friends in and out of Africa in the Most Anticipated Event of the year. This year’s edition is on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, 7:00 PM at the Grand Arena at the Accra International Conference.

3. Afronation Ghana

The biggest urban music beach festival in Europe return to Africa. The festival brings together some of the most exciting names in afrobeats, hip hop, rnb, dancehall and bashment.

Headliners already announced include 6LACK, Alkaline, Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy & Wizkid with further performances from Kuami Eugene, Naira Marley, Teni, Wendy Shay, Zlatan and many more confirmed. This show will take place at the Laboma Beach from the 27^th – 30^th December 2019.

4. Afrochella

Afrochella is a celebration of Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives and entrepreneurs. The festival is designed to elevate and highlight the thrilling and thriving millennial talent in Africa by introducing an interactive event that teaches, explains and explores various culture with a pioneering approach. This festival will make you celebrate African music and taste premium cultured cuisine. This year’s edition is on the 28^th December 2019 at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.

5. Detty Rave

From the camp of Mr. Eazi comes this amazing concert. Detty Rave is an annual star-stuffed music experience hosted by Mr. Eazi. This concert is the place to see out the year in style. It has fast become the outdoor event that every fan wants to be at. This year is the 3^rd year, and will be on 27^th December 2019 at the Untamed Empire on the Spintex Road.
